I would have been Hulk pissed if I pulled the blower to only find those two plugs. Good thing you pulled the plugs first!

I was 3 steps away from pulling the blower, not one..

but still....

yea I would have been pissed.

After thinking I must have smashed the plugs when installing/ dicking around with the header. I had the plugs in place already so no debris would get into the cylinder.

who would have thunk.

so a quick trip down to the parts store and...............

ROAD TEST!!!!

roadtest.jpg

I took it eazy, just some light 30% and 50% 1st, 2nd, and 3,rd gear pulls.

so far no knocks, noises, smoke, no Check engine.

the idle is smooth as glass

and as for the power

...hole...lee...shit[

im in trouble :spinin:

now hood goes on, tape comes off

and i start my shake down drives.

I still have;

Active handling service/ your mom soon error.

I need to test

A/C

Brakes, suspenction height

lights.

and the road tests, shake down to help relearn the car.

You missed the tread on hear awhile back. A guy put new headers on left the plugs in and had a miss and check engine light. Guess what he broke a few plugs smashing the headers into them lol.

Right on Chadley! I was going to suggest that you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads.

As soon as I saw those plugs I thought "he didn't pull them out when messing with headers/manifolds". That is way too common and I've seen it time and time again. My brother just did it on his gto. Swapped heads, starts up, gets a code. Asked him if he took plugs out, nope. Cracked one of the ceramics.

Glad it was an easy fix.

not out of the woods yet kids.

two steps forward, one step back.

Thursday night

car behaved fine on a 10 mi 45 min surface trip.

the Active handling, Service your Mom Soon error is now gone = YEA!

No lean bank 2 P0174 error = YEA!!

when the car get up to temp it likes to stay at 217* coolant. = boo , but to be expected for a Canned EForce tune.

The backwards part

at 40 min of stop and go, stop and start I got a P0430 Cataylist System Low Effiecnty Bank 2= BOOOO!!

3rd gear, 45 MPH, medium throttle, there is a bit of a stumble, misfire, popping = BOOOOOO!!

My long term goal is to replace the manifolds with headers and cats (maybe) and have a tune. so Im cautios on spending money on the Canned tune or fixing the 02, or OEM cats.

..im going to have a drink

I wonder if the dumping fuel/etc damaged the cats in short time. I would reset it and go. The rear cat code doesn't mean much. 217 isn't bad at all for 90+ weather. Better get use to hot temps. Any blown LS up here those temps are pretty normal.
