McMaster-Carr...:thumbs I used to order from them practically on a daily basis, at my old job. The warehouse is in LA, and if you get your order in by 10am, you usually get it next day w/ UPS. I never ordered overnight but most of the time got it next day.

TUESDAY NIGHT UPDATE

well the new o-rings-..er um Round Rubber Sealing Device arrived.

i was right $6.31 for 10 (i only need one), plus $24 for overnight shipping.

Ran the ole girl at full throttle. no issues.... almost.

at one Full Pull I got a Service Track son Control System./ Service active handling. but i pulled over, turned off the car, and restarted it. it was gone.

I did also get a P0305 Cylinder #5 Misfire

got home, read and cleared the code.

Ill let her cool off and see if it comes back .

Ill have to take temperature reading on the primaries again.

if ti only happens under boost, it may be a

-fouled plug,

-bad ignition wire

-bad injector

..ok this is starting to get old.

brand new plug wires

Ill doubble check to make sure its seated when its cooled off.

it dones not happen at idle only under heavy throttle.

it may be time to have a pro look at it.

Check gap on the plug maybe? Suppose to be pre-gapped but I've heard of them way-janked out of the box

TUESDAY NIGHT DRUNK update

ok so im replaying the event in my head.

when the Active handling/service your mom error happened the Check engine flight flashed 3 times and then went away.

..hmm never did that before.

the Active handling Error im learning is a prissy little bitch. if there is a stutter, burp, or a fart in power, it freaks out.

When the Check engine code happened later it flashed 2 rounds of 3 times then went steady. This is the p0305 error. the idle was a little off when the after the p0305 occurred. .. and I mean just a smidgen off. average person could not tell.

CHaD'S DRUNKEN theory

I looket at cylender #5 and guess what I see.

a Brand NEW GM coil at spot #5.

..son of a bitch. the brand new part that I just bought 3 days ago is failing.

this is me right now

further DRUNKERN update

ok to further test this I will need to do a scientific method.

drive it again (when im sober) and see of the error happends again ( duplicate the event).

IF SO, THEN

move the coil to a different position and see if there error fcollows it.

IF SO, THEN

throw the muther F^*(&^*er at the GM parts counter.

I've ordered as late as 5PM and get next day AM delivery. The LA/Phx corridor is a UPS hot zone and M-C is a top tier shipper.

Next time you need those RRSD thingies (aka o-ring) try State Seal, 4135 E. Wood St, Phx or Quality Ind. Prod, 21835 N. 23rd Av, Phx

Flashing CEL means a misfire. It will flash to indicate it is misfiring. Once it does it a few times it will stay solid and you will get a code like you did.
