Two Fangs
Hell, you should just go buy an old school ZR1, the LT5 in those things even had backup intake runners :lol
FNBADAZ06
Or, how about a pair of V-TEC Hondas...chained together at the crank. I could then shut off one engine during part throttle cruise and have my very own cylinder deactivation setup
Two Fangs
Damn, that's awesome, but you would also have to have a way to disengage the chain, unless you plan on using it as a compression brake.

V-TEC FTW !!!! ......all valves would be held open on the deactivated engine, so no compression brake. See how smart I is ?????

HOXXOH
Oh, I get it. Two valve springs in case one of them breaks. It's like a redundancy thing... Yep. In fact, I'm having the heads built with a backup pair of intaks and exhaust valves machined in....just in case the first pair fail. Yah know.....kinda like the 4V Ford engines Then in the interest of saving some underhood space, you could run two wires to each spark plug from two different coils. The wires take up less space than 8 more coils.
