It helps when guys buy the stuff brand new, then change their minds and sell for a loss.

Timing's everything :partygrnhat:

Building a badassed car and bargain hunting, that is a win-win right there, baby!

Now you just need some different pistons, a different cam and a couple of hair dryers and you'll be all set!

The last part of the puzzle, and a journey that started back on September 4, 2010 :partydance:

Hopefully we will get them ordered by the end of the week, with a .030 mill .

It's a good thing you did the brake upgrade before you added all this power. I can already see the timeslips. 6.30 @ 109.75 at the 1/8th and 12.25 @ 73.52 at the finish. :lol

I'll be no faster than I was before......I'm doing all this work for reliability's and dependability's sake :leaving

Oh, I get it. Two valve springs in case one of them breaks.

It's like a redundancy thing...

I alwys thought it was a ricer thing....

Give me the springs, make it two of them.. yeah the big ones!

Yep. :thumbs

In fact, I'm having the heads built with a backup pair of intaks and exhaust valves machined in....just in case the first pair fail.

Yah know.....kinda like the 4V Ford engines :smilelol:bolt:
