exflirt Posted July 13, 2014 Share Posted July 13, 2014 Howdy folks! I've been lurking for a few months while I decided whether or not to trade my modified SS for a Corvette. I put the Camaro up for sale a few months ago after I decided to get the upcoming ZO6 convertible - and saying I am excited is definitely an understatement! That car is fierce and makes my insides get all jumpy In terms of which metallic paint to choose, I originally thought I would get the CRT but now I'm not so sure. I absolutely love the color, but.... I just think it is not bright enough. And I really like red calipers, which I would not pair with this color. So now unless they offer a new exclusive color that really grabs me, I'm thinking of the LBT - or the SOM. Please give me your thoughts, I really am not sold any any one color yet and am struggling! Is that blue similar to the Imperial Blue Metallic? A navy metallic? I agree, that color would look amazing with the Kalahari. And it actually looks quite like black when it's out of the sun. Hmmmm, I hadn't considered that one before.. Man, this is going to be a tough decision. I'm not complaining too much, though, it's a good problem to have! I like the early C6 Daytona Sunset Orange Metalic but like the Atomic Orange a lot better. I'd trade my vette (and my left arm) for an Atomic Orange Grand Sport, a rare beast due to a 2010 model year only. Some of the pictures floating around show the Sunrise Orange Metalic to be somewhere in between DSOM and AO brightness wise. That being said, I would love a really, really dark metallic gray or a metallic black, but unfortunately..... :-( I can't wait until they officially announce the colors and put to rest all the speculation. My Camaro is Carbon Flash Metallic and is gorgeous. And you're right, it is totally impractical. However, I am not going to make practicality a requirement for this car, otherwise I'd never get it, lol. Thanks, everyone, for all your thoughts. But that depends on what shade they come out with. I like the early C6 DSO a little bit more than the AO. Next would have to be the NRB. They don't make purple anymore otherwise that would have be right up there at the top too......just sayin'.....again depending on the shade...
