FYI for Westies: I'll leave Sun City about 0600 via S-101 to I-10, planning to exit I-10 on I-17 south to get around the tunnel closure and rejoin I-10 on the south (east?) side of Phoenix. Not if coming back the same way is a good idea, but I am studying options for that. AM should be no problem, but I really don't want to get jammed up on the way back either. Keep ya'll posted. That's how I was planning to go to except I'll pick up the 10 at Dysart. We can always take I8 to Gila Bendover and up 85. I was at at Hot Rods in old Vail from about 12-1 and didnt see one other vet so I ate and left. Figured you guys were running late. Oh well maybe next time. Oops. It was great to see everyone, as it has been a long time since I have been able to get out. Nice to meet the new faces also, and Old Chicago was good.
