For anyone who hasn't been there yet, if you don't go you'll not only miss some super cool planes and stuff, but the chance to enjoy it with a group and follow it with a lunch. The odor of aviation gas takes one back to the 60's street drags. A 409 chevy with corvette speed parts. Hot Rod cafe @ Vail will work great for lunch. Shifty Posted April 13, 2014 Author Share Posted April 13, 2014 I don't know how much of a deterent this will be, but we went to teh "air show" today, and they have teh entire road (Valencia) torn up, and we would be driving in on a dirt road as it is now. One other thing to consider about May 11th is that it is Mother's day - meaning a lot of folks may be tied up with family obligations that day. . .
