With lunch down at Hot Rods Old Vail afterwards.

Since teh heat will be coming soon, I suggest we meet in the parking lot at 9 am, which is opening time.

. . .going north from I-10 on Kolb would probably be the best route in for peeps coming in from out of town, Valencia is a mess.

Been there a couple times and it's a really great place to visit. I'd like to go again, but will have to miss it this time. For anyone who hasn't been there yet, if you don't go you'll not only miss some super cool planes and stuff, but the chance to enjoy it with a group and follow it with a lunch. I give this trip two thumbs up. :thumbs :thumbs

At this time it looks like May 11th will work for me. Sounds like a good time!

I just realized May 11th marks the 1st anniversary of ownership of my ZR1. I can't think of a better way to spend the day than burning up the road.

Greetings from the Gila valley, I'm in! what a better way to spend my birthday. The odor of aviation gas takes one back to the 60's street drags. A 409 chevy with corvette speed parts. Hot Rod cafe @ Vail will work great for lunch.

I don't know how much of a deterent this will be, but we went to teh "air show" today, and they have teh entire road (Valencia) torn up, and we would be driving in on a dirt road as it is now. It may be finished in time for 11 May, but given how Tucson works, probably not until teh following May.

We may have to re-schedule.... :banghead

I can't make the 11th so if you move it I'll have a better shot at attending... But don't move it just for me!

Lets hear some opinions....

:lurk

Not to be rude, but don't ask for opinions. Simply check the circumstances that may have created a problem and then make a decision.

:withstupid The one thing you will NEVER get on this forum is a consensus. Evaluate the circumstances and make a decision. One other thing to consider about May 11th is that it is Mother's day - meaning a lot of folks may be tied up with family obligations that day. . .
