Aw shit, Bob. You'd be cruisin' around drinking that cup of coffee on every lap! :party

Heyo, Paul Ricard is less than two weeks away: http://www.gtopen.net/article_app.php?id=1272&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

To be honest, I know V8Racing and of course Solaris are playing this season but I have not heard a peep from SRT....

Uuuh...if I had bothered to follow Blancpain GT I would have known our boy Maxime Soulet is rockin' a Bentley GT3r this year. Shit.

Tutumlu and his Kurdish oil money, out.

Soulet, out.

Where does that leave big Yellar and that 427? :armed:

Just getting worse now....

Miguel Ramos is in a McLaren now and it looks like he took Vodafone sponsorship with him: http://www.gtopen.net/article_app.php?id=1287&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Sooo...don't know about SRT and Archie Hamilton, and other than teh Pastorelli brothers I don't know who V8racing has for drivers.

I wouldn’t do very good time wise, but I’d have a hell of a great time driving it!

I'm still stoked, though I'd prefer not to have to watch Archie's slow azz....

Solaris is stoked too.....they keep releasing remixes of their videos, but they have teh vette loaded on teh truck to Paul Ricard for this weekend...

Well...teh way this reads leads me to think Solaris is our only entry. I do know V8racing bought a gt3 mercedes in teh off season and they entered teh 24 HR series at Dubai, but they have given no indication they're coming back to this GT Open.

Yep, check post 258 above. Ramos, that basterd.

:armed: So I'm told this was all about "The 2015 season will see further improvements to the formula, with a more homogenous field (all FIA GT3 –or assimilated- cars)" bullshit, and that our GT1 and GT2 Corvettes were legislated OUT of teh GT Open. :gun4:

Accordingly, I just went thru all teh stages of grief, as I realized those old Corvette warhorses may be put out to pasture finally. *sob

:Jake: Solaris. Let's hope their racing acumen matches their enthusiasm :lol , and that ole Callaway GT3 vette can hang with McLarens, Lambos, and teh wicked 458's returning. They are set up at Paul Ricard:

Well...its a small sample size to judge from, but IMO these Solaris boys are overmatched by better drivers in better cars. Shoulda followed teh Germans in ADAC GT. :lol

Race one recap at DSC: http://www.dailysportscar.com/2015/04/25/international-gt-open-paul-ricard-race-1-report-balzan-benucci-win.html

I would've vadered a shot of Solaris' own grid girl.....but no need to kick them while they're down....
