Was interestin to see how they strap a car down after setting it up for the run.

That Cleveland 351 AC Cobra replica was music to listen to.

The blue Z06 .. my that is L-O-U-D isn't it?

What?

WHAT?

I CAN'T HEAR YOU!

MY HEAD HURTS AT 6700RPM!!

-grin-

sounded GREAT :)

Was interestin to note the hp gain with cutouts open vs closed on the Red Vert of Jester ..I didn't realize it would make that big a difference.

They sound good too wide open :)

Frank, were you and Jester1 the only ACE members there?

Did you get any pics? How was the turn out? did you talk to the garage owners?

Are they going to do this again?

Nice facility!!

I like the fact that you drive the car not them.

You back it on the ramp and and they strap you down.

You tell the operator the rpm you want to start and how high you want to go!

It all worked very well and other than not getting a hard copy of either run and no e-mail yet with the drf attachments, I would go back!!

I had to get to a hOOter's appt and didn't ask for printouts.

If we did a big day, the parking or lack of, could be a problem!!

I'm right around the corner, so I'll keep in touch and when the weather cools down, who knows!

I was there early, and had a great time. Thanks Gearhead.

That was my first on a dyno and it was really interesting getting 6200 rpm in 2nd gear. I thought I broke the damn thing when the rpm limiter started cutting out, but their computers are truly amazing. I enjoyed talking to the other car owners and picked the mechanics brains on some mod's. Thanks again Gearhead, and am awaiting my e-mail. Mike

Was a shade under 20hp difference ..19 and change I believe.

Interestin that Jester's Vette laid down better numbers than the AC Cobra ..that 351 sounded great but needs a bit of TLC to really do what they do so well.
