Marana Rich Posted October 19, 2007 Share Posted October 19, 2007 John & Karen Strutt are coming to Yuma.Plan is to meet at Frye's parking lot at the corner of 4th Avenue & 24th Street at 5:30 on Saturday. Usually there are some classic cars that show up, so we can eyeball them and talk and meet John & Karen. Plan on going to Lute's cafe on Main street after for a hotdog hamburger. Marana Rich Posted October 24, 2007 Author Share Posted October 24, 2007 Well, John and Karen have come and gone.Went out to dinner a few times, visited the old territorial prison, the mission church across the river, and the park with the big old steam engine. Saturday night we met up with local members Tom (YumaZ06), and Ed & Mona. Went to the famous (or infamous) Lute's Casino where we had the house special, the hotdog hamburger.We pigged out at Famous Dave's last night with the feast for four - it's a lie, there was enough for six, but only four pieces of corn.
