jmartin Posted September 23, 2007 Share Posted September 23, 2007 I noticed the other day theres getting to be a lot of events pinned in this section and I was wondering if the mods had the ability and the time if they could possibly rearrange the order they are listed. I think it would be a plus if the events were listed from top to bottom according to the dates they held on instead of bouncing all around from one month to the next then back again. Im not shure if its possible but it just would help at least me to keep the dates straight, what do you guys think? I notice that even if the date is placed with the event it really helps. I just noticed something with a date October 27 (haven't looked at it yet). I think the only one that dosen't have the date is the second Prescott one.... Usually the most current post will put it at the top of the list. Desertdawg Posted September 25, 2007 Share Posted September 25, 2007 The last reply to a thread determines its position, there's no control over the order they are in.As for the clutter, having 2 threads for the vette's and ghostriders, and the Prescott runs really added to it. I was going to combine them but they each had different info. In the future we should try to prevent this from happening. Keep all info in the same thread.In the past I wouldn't make a thread sticky until it was within the month of the event, or it was within 2 weeks of the end of the month. right now just the dyno day is way to early, but it also has special circumstances....Also I tried to limit the sticky's to just ACE events, or other events that had a ton of intrest. A good example is the 27th. The Topless Cruise is an ACE event, but the Thorobred Thunder VIII wouldn't be made a sticky unless a bunch of ACE members were posting in it and attending.
