Couldn't make it last night. Hope you guys had fun. We sure missed seeing you.

Same here...I was borrowing tools at our airport maintenance hangar in order to install a new thermostat.

I'm gettin tired of this nickel and dime sh!!t.. every time I fix one thing something else breaks and I still have a head gasket leak to worry about.. :banghead :banghead

We were invited to attend a new car show this Friday night at Chase Bank at I-17 and the Carefree Highway. Chase Bank is sponsoring this show from 4-8 p.m. on Friday nights. We are going here this Friday to check it out. If you are looking for something to do on Friday night, you can stop by Chase Bank or go by Big Earl's.

Boy is Earl's DEAD! We drove by tonight and there was one old 60's Cadillac and that was it. Did I miss something? :huh

Yeah, you missed us.

We got there as early as we could...around 7:15-7:20...just that old Caddy then us. We had to stop, I was starving.

So the wife and I sat and chatted for a bit then left.

That's 2 times I've been and been pretty thin. First time was Ed, Cheyre and me. Tonight, just me and the wife. Oh well.

Well, we were there from 5:00 to 6:30 with only two other couples. It was dead. Some of the "usual" corvette gang was out of town and it was still a little warm to sit out. We will try again next week. Thanks for stopping by though. Sean, sorry you guys had to eat alone. When we were driving back, thought I saw Butch and Theresa, but not sure. Sorry we missed everyone.

anyone going tonight?

I got word there is a new place Culver's at 19th ave and Deer Valley. Supposed to have "Butter Burgers". They're not on the heart smart menu but boy they are delicious! Kim and I are going to try it tonight.

I brought the 66 to work today for "show and tell". Since it's out of the garage we'll probably take it tonight.

Pretty close to my neighborhood, maybe I'll come see the 66. Burgers there are pretty good, their frozen custard is killer!

Kim and I went to Culvers tonight. Much better than Earl's has been lately. They probably had 25-30 Vettes, streetrods, hotrods, etc. Food is great.

My Son and Daughter in law took our digital camera to Hawaii a month ago and haven't returned it.

I'd like to take some of my own shots of the 66 and haven't been able to either.

We were there also. Very nice place. Huge parking lot and it was a lot of fun. Totally lit front and back. You can sit inside and out but it was such a beautiful night a lot of the people brought their chairs and sat by their cars. Lots of fun though. And the 66 is beautiful. Congratulations again.

Meant to go see you two, collided with the couch and that was the end of Friday. Next time!

So is this the new Friday night spot for the North valley?

From what we understand there are several Friday night shows that are still ongoing: Big Earl's, Chase Bank, Culver's and heard of one on Bell and 51st Avenue. Probably several others we haven't heard about yet. Just checking them out. Trying to find the best and most convenient location for Friday nights. We have a meeting once a month that we attend on the second Friday so we will not be at any car show this next Friday. But, we had a great time at Culvers and will probably try it out for a few weeks.
