Speedratchet
I'm finally back from Texas and I had a great time. Them people in Texas really know how to put on an event. The highlight was driving the oval at the Texas Motor Speedway. I met some great people. In June the Lone Star Corvette Club will be bringing a caravan of 35 cars to the Corvette Road tour in Flagstaff.Click Here For More Event PicturesMyself at the staging area. Can't forget ACEMy car on pit rowOn the track.. nort99
Welcome back home Gary. Great pictures. There are some might fine looking machines in the pictures. It looked like there were a ton of wears their to be purchased. Red ramps looked cool, do you remember how high they were?

How many restrictions did they place on speed, passing, etc?M~Ken, I like to think of myself as Show-N-Go. You’re just jealous because my car is clean. :D I do have a little more respect for NASCAR drivers now. It was my first time on a track that had bankingand it was a very different driving feeling. They had a pace car in front and in the rear of the group (12 Vettes) to keep the speed down and there was no passing. The most I saw was 90 MPH. I should have taken my radar detector down before my run because it broke off its mount and was flopping around the pretty bad. Live and learn I guess.
