Thanks Mike, but we were busy having Mike at AZPS put on our headers and full exhaust this afternoon. She is definitely over 600HP at the motor. Mike estimates 540HP to the wheels right now, but we haven't had her dyno'd yet. The ported heads will probably be here and installed before we get the dyno/tune done. The car moves pretty good now, still could use a little more oomph though. :lol:lol

We are already getting prices for a forged block and an ATI Procharger from Mike for next year maybe.... :crazy

Wow that HP bug has bitten pretty hard :eek , are you going to stay with a 427 when getting the forged block with the Procharger?

Congrats on the recently added HorsePower.

Phil... :devil

Yeah, were going to keep the 427 and send it out to "Katech" to have the block balanced and reinforced and add forged pistons. Mike said after that, our motor would be indestructable. :devil He said if we try any type of forced induction with the block we have now, we would blow it up.

Geeze, you guys, that thing's going to be a monster! :thumbs

Yep! :devil

Mike said 950HP at the motor and 800HP at the wheels is the most you can get with pump gas.:yesnod

Mike also said if anyone is running any type of forced induction at the track, race gas will protect your motor better than pump gas. He said on the street, pump gas is ok, but on the track, always run race gas. Just an FYI.

Anthony Burgi, a 36-year-old lawyer from Gilbert, was eastbound on Riggs Road near Recker Road about 5:20 a.m., when he went off the road and slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler dump truck bed, said Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office spokesman deputy Doug Matteson.

Burgi was ejected and suffered serious head and internal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Matteson said he didn’t know how fast the Viper was traveling, but said it struck the dump truck bed with such force that the dump truck bed was pushed 15 feet.

Doug Matteson is one of the PIOs (Public Information Officer) for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. The accident did in fact move the trailer 10 to 15 feet. The speed at impact has not yet been determined. I will say though that most of the "facts" reported on the news are incorrect. By the way, the car was a 2006.
