Guest Sidewinder
Get ya a can of flat black for the rotor hats. It will stick to anything and holds up to the temps.Just plain ole flat black Krylon, Mark? Are you sure that'll hold up to the heat? I burnt the factory paint off my rotors at the SECC DE.SteveBeen on mine for almost a year now and I have heated the rotors up pretty good a couple of times (chuckle chuckle). Guest UVETTYA
Yep got them on and finally got that dam clip to go in. Used a five pound hammer with a 400 pound guy swinging it. Finally went. Picked up Performance drilled and slotted rotors from Napa and got me some ceramix pads also with life time warranty. Pictures to follow in the sunlight tomorrow. I did not use black paint, I use chrome hight temp paint. So far they look great. :D Time will tell. Now all you need is the LED valve caps and you'll be rockin, dood! Me too! Me too! I was trying and trying to figure out a way to "guilt" CaHd into doing them for me, but it seems I'm gonna have to watch and learn from the Red Plumber. Tony's two-toned are sharp too! I've got a whole can of the Black caliper paint, I would imagine there's enough for more than one set.
nort99
Hey Mike, when are you painting your new calipers???Just not sure yet. If I do it will before I replace the rotors. They are grey with white letters now,,, I kinda like it that way. :D
