Hot Teams Race Nov 19th Speedworld

Hello everyone,

We are having a Hot Teams race at SpeedWorld on the 19th. As always AZ Vette is always welcome to participate. I see that you are going to be participating in club day also.

For those that are not familiar with Hot Teams it is the only FREE heads up program in the southwest. We compete GM, Ford and Mopars against each other. This is invitational type event capped at 50 cars max, we have about 20 on the roster right now. This is NOT bracket racing - if you sign up you will actually be racing to win at the big end of the track.

When you race you are competing for both the win light and for best reaction time off the tree. YOu win points for your team based on the following format: 3 points for the win light, 2pts for best reaction time and one participation point ( you got a time slip).

If you sign up you will be matched if there is another availble (non-GM) car for you to compete against that is within +/- 5 points of your cars Performance Index score. You will only have one competition race that day - test and tune or club events the rest of the time.

If you are already registered with HTR and you have a car number you do not need to sign up again. Just email me or post on the web forum that you want to be on the roster and let me know your car number.

There is no purse at HTR events. It is run by folks that are fans of heads-up racing for that purpose only.

Interestingly enough, a stock C5 scores exactly 75 points...

I bet $5 that Steve ("Mr.-I-wanna-sub-12-et") wants to chew up some Mustangs or whatever...
