The definition of club is "an association or organization dedicated to a specific interest or activity." There is no requirement in the definition of "club" that you have to have membership requirements, dues, mandatory meetings, officers, and other bureaucratic nonsense. ACE meets the definition of a "club" the trophy bullshit last year was just pandering to whiny crybaby Fast Glass; that caused me to lose all respect for the organizers of this really great charity event. If anyone knows how we roll then u should know we dont care about what about anyone says, we actually like for who ever has a problem will come out and say it in our faces which is not a good idea to tell MACE anything. I've been in ACE for a couple years and I live it. All we are is a bunch of friend driving Corvettes.. If u want to participate and take a cruise and enjoy a good show then do it,if not stay home as simple as that. And if anyone has a problem with plz contact me so we can deal with this like real men. This show is about collecting monetary contributions for a worthwhile charity, while gathering in a scenic location to enjoy a common interest and to develop lasting friendships. There is always a chance that they will do that, but I wouldn't count on it. They know that a lot of participants show up just in hopes that their club could win. For several years it was Fast Glass vs. Sun Country and many members of both clubs only came for the participation award.
