Guest LT4ME
Just don't let Angie know you're thinking of having sex with 2 supermodels! I'm more concerned that he's thinking about TWO expensive things to do to the CE without even mentioning the expensive things the C5 needs! The C5 doesn't need expensive things. It IS an expensive thing.

Guest LT4ME
Well, I finally decided to just go with the Firehawks, since I can afford those right now and the Michelins aren't in my current price range. So, I decide to get some today and can't find any anywhere in the valley for a decent price. We send a lot of business to Discount Tire and they usually hook me up, but they aren't a Firestone dealer and their cost on them is almost what I can buy the Michelins for at Costco. Anyone have a good tire place that has good service and prices?
Eddie44
Come on Mike you can admit it. Angie said no way on the supermodels! Nothing at all wrong with the Firestones. I'm sure they have improved the whole problem they had. No corporation wants to go through again what they did a couple years ago.

Guest XLR8TNC5
I had the Goodyear EMT's on my ride when I got it. Can you say SUCKED? Then I put the Michilen PS ZP's on my car and all I can say IS WOW! I loved those tires. I just went through them a little quicker than anticipated. 25,000 miles to be exact. I didn't think I would find another tire I liked better, but now I have the Nitto 555R Extreme DR's and I am 100% in love with these tires. Just my .02 for ya. Guest LT4ME
Well, in the interests of having more money for exhaust, I bought a pair of BFG KDWs the other day. They should be in this Friday. Saved about $280 over buying the Michelins. That's at least one muffler. ;)

Phoenix FRC
I would recommend the Mich PS2s or the BFG KDs. These are both excellent tires. Also you might want to check out the Kumho Exsta MX.ChadI have these Kumho's but can't compare them to anything because they came with the car. This is my first Vette but like the tires, the ride is good and they are a little slippery when its warm..And... i wanted to ask, where is a good place to get the wheels & tires balanced?I have one R.F. I think that is slightly out. Thanks,

Guest LT4ME
Well, we just got back from having the Beefies put on the CE. OH. MY. GOD. What an AMAZING difference! It feels like I took the square wheels off and put on round ones! Of course, this is going to be the most expensive pair of tires I've ever purchased, as now that I know the difference, we have to replace the other 6 Run-Craps we have on the front of the CE and all four corners on the Vert.
