Final Effort
I use Stoner Invisible Glass and never had a problem with water spots. You can't let the water dry on the surface or you will get spots. I thought it was a given, NOT to wash a car in the sun. My daughters ride had bad water spots on the drivers side due to grass sprinkler. 1 I first sprayed white vinegar on then while still wet rubbed on them. 2 That did some good but I ended up using a clay bar followed with cleaner polish then wax. Blk n Blu
I have bunch of 0000 steel wool for tailpipes, never thought about using it on glass. What kind of kitchen cleaner ? Ajax, Comet what ever just make sure the rag is just damp enough to hold the cleaner on the rag.
Officerblue
Wow, didn't know the water was that bad. I'm glad I have well water....
oldmxdog61u
Even most wells in the valley are pretty hard water. While you may not hit the silly high hardness figures on muni supplies, you will likely still have what is consideredretty hard water... ie spotting.
