I have a similar lift. Car is very stable on it for simple things like oil changes, brakes etc. Cost is usually $12-1500. Who ever buys one make sure the arms are wide enough for a vette, the brand I bought wasn't (salesman said vettes fit perfectly). Had to have wider arms made.
