dewey
SpeedTVGT1 is somewhat depleted in 2009, with just eight entries. Corvette Racing will mark their final assault on the class before they move down to GT2 with two C6.Rs, and as in years past, will be joined by two more C6.Rs entered by Luc Alphand. With Aston Martin's shift to LMP1, their factory DBR9s are missing, but single entries from Gigawave and Jetalliance will provide the greatest challenge to the Corvettes. The class is rounded out by two Lamborghini Murcielagos -- one from 2008 entrant IPB Spartak, and agian from the Japanese Lamborghini Owners Club (JLOC). Aston Martin loyalists Team Modena are missing from GT1, having moved to GT2 with a new Ferrari F430. Larbre's Saleen S7 is also off the list. MOTV8
A win at Le Mans would be....well, a win at Le Mans. Vettes should fill the podium, but I'm subconciously rooting for the Owners Club Lamborghini to get third over the frenchie Vettes. How cool would it be if a Corvette club, like ACE put together a racecar and went to freakin Le Mans or Sebring and made the podium???
