One is in my future. Not for at least 3+ years. Most likely be a used one.

My next Vette will no doubt be a C6, hopefully a Z06. Those of you that know me know that could be dangerous!

maybe when we get the Toyota paid off in about 3 1/2 years we can trade it in on a C5. By then we might be able to trade straight across ;)

3,503 lbs of trouble

Is a C6 in my future? :smilelol: W/ who's $$? Hey, I'll never say never. Down the long term road who knows, but I can tell you I'd ONLY want one for it's performance, not for it's looks, so I guess I'd only want a Z06. I think the C5 overall is a more attractive car.

I don't plan to ever get one. I don't care for anything more than the performance on them, but I can always make my C5, whether it be the one I have now, or one I add to the collection (Z06) just as fast and maybe faster. so no biggie to me.

Maybe if I won the lottery I would buy one just to say I had one, but I can think of a lot of other cars I would buy before the C6. I do like the techie fun driver stuff on the C6 though.

See ya,

Tanya

Very happy :) with the ride we have now. Maybe like when a long lost RICH uncle steps on over to the other side  and leaves his checkbook to us then maybe. Oh yea thats right we don't have any uncles left so come on PowerBall!!!

Sure it is in my future. The problem is, it is so far in my future I can only see the slight reflection of the sun off the glass. :(

I put down my deposit on Saturday 12/04 and it went into the system on Monday 12/06

GM confirmed the order on Tuesday 12/14 and issued me an order number.

These are the options I selected...

Y07 Coupe

19U LeMans Blue Exterior

36 Steel Gray interior

1SB Preferred Equipment Group

Free Flow Options

MX0 Automatic Transmission

F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control

G90 Axle, 3.15:1 Performance Ratio

QG7 Polished 5-Spoke Aluminum Wheels

UE1 Onstar

Should be an interesting wait.

I'm so dang jealous. :( It sounds like a kewl ryde! :)

But I'll stick with my faster 405hp (well, maybe a little more now) Z06. The 2002 to 2004 Z06 is still the fastest Corvette. The FE4 suspension on the Z06 has a 10% stiffer rear transverse leaf spring than the Z51 option on a C6. The M12 Tremec gearing is more aggressive too - which is why the Z06 still beats the LS2 C6.

I just saw a 2002 405hp Z06 sold on Ebay for only $29,000. The deal gets even better since they probably didn't pay sales tax or prep charges.

For less than $10,000 you could easily plop 600hp in this baby and spank a 2006 Z06 that will probably cost twice as much.

Now that is "bang for the buck". :D

I personally am still on the fence about it. I love my 50th A.E. coupe :D

Maybe in a couple of years I could see my self getting one.
