Phill's Vette Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 I was going to include the ball joints in Phase II, but will add a Phase III for another week. Ball joints would have taqken another 4 hours today.... Phase II consisted of 4 tie rods, HD idler arm and HD billet aluminum tie rod shafts. All went good; no frozen,broken or striped bolts and no blood this time! I adjusted the new shafts/rods to the exact length as those I removed, this will hold good for another week. I'll get the upper/lower ball joints on and will finally be able to get a full 4 wheel alignment done, probably by Classic Gold. I took her for a test drive after and the improved steering response is awesome! She handles like a real sports car now - like a Corvette should!
