It's sad but after retiring once he went back to what he loved. 330 mph, a short black lane and shutes that didn't catch air ended his life. I was lucky enough (without knowing this event would strike) to purchase a case of his 2008 Kalitta Air Funny Cars. You can be sure one is the highlight of my collection and my way of always remembering. In my life, that was one of my saddest days. Thank you Scott.
