They are on the pricy side.

Thats pretty decent for a 4 post... the one we have was $14,999 :crazy

A good shade tree mechanic 4 post will cost you $2300 +/-. A bargin hunter can find an decent 8000lb 4 post for $1800. Theirs is rated at 7000lbs.

Of course these are designed for home use.

that's how my house is setup - my master bedroom is right above my garage!

hey Joe - that HUGE garage you're building in globe would definitely be INCOMPLETE without one of these - wouldn't it? :D

I opted for a two post lift. I like it better than a 4 post because it has much better access from underneath and you don't have to jack the car to do wheel and brake work. I got mine on Ebay new for $1800. I often do the double decker drill and park one vette under the other...
