WTB C5 A/C compressor clutch assembly

So my A/C compressor seems to be ok, but it looks like the clutch is gone... there's like some kind of fibers sticking out in between the clutch and the plate. The magnet pulls the clutch in and it speens but my guess is that its slipping and its not spinning fast enough, so its not cooling. There's gas in the lines and it seems like there's no leak so I believe the compressor its ok.

I'll like to replace the clutch first and see if that fixes the problem before taking out the compressor and go trough all the ha$$le of replacing and charging gas again.

Anybody have a good used clutch???

Thanks :D

First thing I would do is a pressure check with a set of gauges.

I just pulled a compressor(shelled) from a 97 Chevy truck.

I'll pull the clutch from that & you can have at it

Oh cool, thanks. Is it the same?? Mine its a 2000.

Well yeah I need to check the pressure with the right tools, but I can say I just hand checked the valve and it was really tight because of the existing pressure, once I managed to open it, it came out with so much pressure it almost hit the roof.

So, thanks :) I really apreciate the help :D

I just put a brand new compressor on my 99 and it didn't have any core on it. The clutch on the old one is still good it's yours if you want it.
