Not As Exciting As Motv8's, But

Shifty

Here is my C5 brake swap...

C5brakes001.jpg

Hawk ceramic pads

Raybestos drilled/slotted rotors, electroless nickel plated

SS braided brake hoses

C5 calipers

Racing (dot 4) brake fluid

Teh swap actually works better on my 87 Z28, but that's probably because it was so under-braked

to start with...

Good deal!!

Just for gee whiz info are those aftermarket manufactured calipers? The CORVETTE is missing, not that the letters make them work any better. :thumbs

Just curious

They are Raybestos calipers....they are brand new, but from what teh Raybestos rep told me, there are copyright protections on using tey Corvette name/logo, so they mill them off....

When I did teh conversion on my Z28, I got teh last logo'd calipers before Raybestos changed that policy.

:cool

Awesome! :thumbs Lookin' good and a great mod. :clap

I like that the caliper mount and the caliper are different colors. Makes 'em "pop" IMHO, like on Scratch's....er, JStrutt's 'vette. I'm thinking of re-doing my mounts in silver, maybe make the black "pop" a little more. :yesnod
