Fuel Pump In A 92

Ever changed one?

Good , bad , ugly?

Mine started flaking out on me so im gonna swap it out, just figured I would ask if anybody has done one on a c4 before.

Any advice would be great.

I haven't done one, but the info on the forum looks easy enough. Comes out from the top as a complete assy. Disconnect the battery and unclip the connector to the pump, remove the fuel door, remove the rubber cover, remove the ten bolts and lift out the unit. Reverse to install. Robert

Was wondering if it could actually be that easy

Ill let everybody know within then next couple of days. (Gotta get a day off of work first :| )

On my 82 it came out through the fuel door with the exact same proceedure...

I think GM stuck with that design from 82 on.

Sure beats the old method of dropping the tank to get at it.

it's that easy!

10 bolts hold it in there!

however, don't do what i did and cross your wires when hooking them up - the penalty for this stupidity was to have to go buy a new sensor that showed the level of fuel in the tank - i think it was a pink wire but don't quote me!
