Azrsx12345
The car had a new clutch installed 2-3k miles ago. After the clutch install I bought long tube headers and exhaust. I installed them, had the pcm tuned and have driven the car with zero issues. I do not rip on this car at all. One day pulled out of my driveway took it around the neighborhood. Came to a stop sign and the clutch felt a bit weird and it would not engage into any gear. Just before I dig into the burnt clutch line that I’ve researched I replaced the master cylinder and it’s still the exact same. So I pulled my header off and I’m attaching pictures of what I saw. I see a black mark on the heat shield and a mark on the hose. . I’m wondering if that’s enough to cause an internal blockage. I have zero leakage and my reservoir has never gone below full since all this started. Any input or advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Desertdawg
Yes that could have cooked the inside of the hose enough to swell it closed. But it could have just boiled the fluid enough to cause it to fail on compression.
