Chameleon Posted December 22, 2021 Share Posted December 22, 2021 My '01 base coupe had a "passive" alarm system. It set automatically every time shut off the car and locked the doors. I assume yours would be the same. You should be able to change your settings for the horn to beep and/or the lights flash when it arms so you have that confirmation if that is important to you. It would be a good idea to get your hands on an owner's manual (or just try some google searches for manual content) to help get familiar with all the features and settings the car has available.
