Hey everyone!

Excited to be a part of the community :)

A few months back I decided to sell off a motorcycle I had spent the last few years building as I just wasnt riding that much any more and was really wanting to get back into building out a fast fun (possible track) car. I spent a lot of time looking at different platforms and finally decided on a C5 corvette. So last month, the right deal finally came about and I picked up my first corvette!

The corvette I picked up is a 1999 restored title, pewter metallic hatchback/targa top, with 155k miles, a T-56 trans, and the following after market parts (that i've found so far):
-Borla exhaust

-Cat delete

-C6 shifter or just knob?

-Homemade "Lazy Eye" headlights

-18" front and 19" rear ZR1 replica wheels (chrome but plastidipped black?)

-Nitto NT555 tires all around
-Side skirt extensions
-LED taillights

-Varam CAI

-Lowering bolts?

-Steering column lock out bypass module

-Clutch, master cylinder, and slave cylinder allegedly replaced in April of 2021

Since I've picked it up, I've spent a lot of garage time (and money!) working to improve the ergonomics, replacing broken plastics, fixing electronics, and trying to get this thing to a good base foundation. So far, I've done the following:
-Installed Autometer A-pillar gauge cluster
-Installed AEM X-series wideband gauge

-Installed Glowshift Boost/Vacuum gauge

-Installed HP Tuner MPVI2

-Installed Corbeau A4 seats w/ sliding rails
-Installed NRG Quick release hub and adapter
-Installed Momo 350mm wheel

-Replaced a variety of interior trim (visor clips, vent covers, door access covers, key bezel, etc etc)

-Replaced windshield wiper motor

-Installed missing clutch pedal spring

-Converted all exterior and interior lights to LED

-Tinted rear external lights

-Cut out front license plate area

-Installed fixed projector headlights (the "lazy eye" DIY setup that was done destroyed the light buckets and Im not currently willing to afford the cost to return it back to the stock flip ups I'd prefer)

-Installed auxillary fuse-box for all after market accessory wiring

I'm currently working on :

-Modifying a RPMRollbar from a c5 vert to fit (few inches too tall)
-Installing 6-point harness

-Flushing fluids and inspecting the condition/health of all drivetrain components

-Impatiently waiting for my MGW shifter to arrive

-Getting it to a body shop to verify chassis, make some minor body panel adjustments, and repaint the panels that have clearcoat issues
