Togo
i can hear the door lock actuator in the door - it's making plent of noise - and i guess i've been under the impression it was working - but i tested it tonight and much to my surprise, the door was unlocked but the aftermarket alarm was armed and working!when i manually lock it, and arm, the door stays locked, and when i disarm, it unlocks, but when i rearm the alarm, it will not lock the doorsany idears?i'm sure the door panel has to come off for whatever the resolution is, and i'm sure some of you know how much i hate that task - so before i even decide to do this myself, who knows what to even look for?! Togo
yeah, this time it's the vette - i'll try to carefully squirt some lube in there then this week and see if it goes away - otherwise, i'm thinking that panel has to come off! i can hear the door lock actuator in the door - it's making plent of noise - and i guess i've been under the impression it was working - but i tested it tonight and much to my surprise, the door was unlocked but the aftermarket alarm was armed and working!when i manually lock it, and arm, the door stays locked, and when i disarm, it unlocks, but when i rearm the alarm, it will not lock the doorsany idears?i'm sure the door panel has to come off for whatever the resolution is, and i'm sure some of you know how much i hate that task - so before i even decide to do this myself, who knows what to even look for?!on your vette or truck?doesent matter anyways. bring it on by and Ill fix ya right up.Its the same "lube" issue you had with your truck. Togo
i sprayed some of that silicon lube in the door mechanism, and it's still a no go - still have to manually lock it. Mofo said he was having a similar problem, but didn't hear if/how he resolved it - perhaps he'll chime in. i can hear the door lock actuator in the door - it's making plent of noise - and i guess i've been under the impression it was working - but i tested it tonight and much to my surprise, the door was unlocked but the aftermarket alarm was armed and working!when i manually lock it, and arm, the door stays locked, and when i disarm, it unlocks, but when i rearm the alarm, it will not lock the doorsany idears?i'm sure the door panel has to come off for whatever the resolution is, and i'm sure some of you know how much i hate that task - so before i even decide to do this myself, who knows what to even look for?!on your vette or truck?doesent matter anyways. bring it on by and Ill fix ya right up.Its the same "lube" issue you had with your truck.
