Blk n Blu
Is it possible to shim down front sway on the frame without any main issues? The after market aluminum radiator outlet is hitting the sway. I would like to get down a 1/4, 1/8 would work. Thank’s
aenigma
You should message Lonnie67. He’s had to deal with that recently. I cannot remember what he did but I know I don’t have one of the front bars now. there’s hardly any room up in the radiator section as it is. The bigger radiator made everything have to move around. Lonnie67
I don't see a problem with shimming it. Maybe cut the bolt sleeves for the A arms the same amount. I didn't have this problem but I had to get creative with the lower hose. I used a universal radiator, I mounted it as close as I could to the driver side.
Blk n Blu
Lonnie thanks for the reply. I did shim down an1/4” and raised the radiator frame up an 1/8. I haven’t had any issues with it yet.... Thanks again.
