I am very happy with my C6 GS and will never replace it with a C7 or C8. Chameleon Posted August 14, 2019 Share Posted August 14, 2019 There are parts of it I like. It is overall an attractive car.  However, I really don't like it as a Corvette, it just doesn't capture that vibe for me.  Then, there's the rear end. I think the C7 has an ugly butt . To my eye, GM has outdone themselves on the C8, taking the rear end to an entirely new level of "butt-ugly."   I have one spec'd as Ed said, "just for fun" and just in case someone decides to gift one to me.    I have loved Corvettes for 50 years now, currently own my 9th one, and thought that maybe the C8 would be my 10th/last Corvette. NOPE.  Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dave64 Posted August 14, 2019 Share Posted August 14, 2019 I'm on the way to thinking this may be my 3rd (today). I would not pull the trigger until after the initial production year, so others may encounter the start-up problems. Then look for a prior-owned 2nd year car. Maybe...
