I'd get that new car in the garage sooner, rather than later.

 

My friend who offered up the A1 lower for my AR-15 build had lunch with me today. He mentions "I have a gun in the car I know you want". So after we eat, I go out to his 64 Nova wagon, with an LS1 under the hood (cool old rat car with balls). He pulls this out. I take it home.

 

 

Real solid gun. $700. These things go for a minimum of $700 for a basic model. This is an "Enhanced" Officer's model, which has also had a couple mods done to it. Can't wait to get out and shoot it.

Love the 1911 platform! Those Colts are nice!  My daily is a Kimber compact CDP II with a trigger job. Best shooter I own!

That is a nice looking car. But when the time comes, I think I want a 2008 or later, for the LS3 engine, and a couple other improvements over earlier years.
