Thought this was an interesting article about many different oil brands and wear rate in certain engines.

Yeah... I think as long as you change it before it looses it's lubricating properties, you should be good to fill 'er up with astroglide. :eek

I don't know about Ted's rearend. But I just poured in Castrol this morning. 

It was on sale
