Guest Sidewinder
That is a bomb proof (you heard me) aircraft shelter. The bomb weighs a little over 1,000lbs and is GPS guided.

BSeery
I like the videos of the anti-tank technology. Where the projectile hits the tank and a plasma stream cuts through the metal and / or a liquid copper slug goes through the tank and obliterates what ever is on the other (in)side. Desertdawg
Very cool : : : Now, answer this one, what cause's the missile to explode just above the target or ground in both video's???With the truck, it detonates without penetrating anything, the bunker it penetrates the earth, & the cement bunker, then it still detonates before hitting the ground, or the airplane...My guess, it is using a proximity trigger, to something metal ??? Guest catbert
It's a proximity fuse - can be any one of several technologies and doesn't have to see metal. It can even be mechanical with a delay setback that is preset for the type of target.
Guest Sidewinder
Well, Basically the bomb is programmed just before release with all the target info it needs. It has a "few" sensors on it to tell it location, height of burst and target type.
