HOXXOH
When ever I needed to add fluid to my A6, removing the plug was a PITA. I saw a Harbor Freight ad for two 12" needle nose pliers for $6 (one straight and one 80* angled) and thought the angled one might work. It was close, but lacked the ability to really grip, so I modified it with my belt sander. I removed a bunch of material from the curved part and then tapered the gripping edge enough to fit under the top surface of the plug. That allowed the pliers to wedge under the plug plunger and force it up and grip the stem. Once the plunger was up, pulling the rest of the plug out was a breeze. Because I have changed the TC 3 times and do fluid changes rather often, this tool sure saves me a lot of skinned knuckles and aggravation.
