dewey
But I am a bit frustrated...Can't get the ball stud out of the pittman arm...Lotta , too, doesn't seem to be helping.
Desertdawg
Well I was going to suggest oiling it down to help loosen it up, but I see you already have that part taken care of.. When I did my 82, I pounded on it for awhile with a 15 pound sledge, if you have access to an air hammer it will help, but mine needed the sledge. Since your replacing it anyway, don't be gentle... dewey
Wasn't enough room to use a sledge, but a bigger hammer did work, eventually. About 3 this afternoon.

dewey
Almost done. Got everything back where it's supposed to be, just haven't tightened up the lines completely. Haven't been able to find a torque for those, plus I've got to figure out the routing for the two lines going to the pump. I put them in according to the AIM, but they seem to want to get in the way of each other and seem to close to the cylinder. Also, IIRC, it's 3/8ths between steel lines, right Tim, Mark, Bigfoot? Anyway, just a few odds and ends, then fill and bleed. Then I got to figure out what I burnt up when my dumb@$$ started removing the alternator with the battery still connected. Fun, fun, fun. Hopefully I'll have her ready for Saturday.
