The builder started with a rust-free Bug from the California desert, so there is no corrosion like most early bugs.It just passed emissions with flying colors and is registered for street use.Perfect for hunting, camping, or just bombing around out in the desert, and it's even great on the highway. I've driven it to work a few times, and it behaves well in traffic and on the freeway. Pertronix ignition, Empi stinger with Supertrapp-style silencer, and some chrome dress-up bits. Tires have great tread, interior has been restored, seat belts are functional, all gauges work, and there's room for four (OR lots of gear in the back seat and on the roof rack).
