Wonder how long that one with externals can stay aloft?

Those are not externals. If I told you what they were, I'd have to...Well, you know. [evil grin]

Just how energy efficient are they as pushers?

Every GA plane out there is a front prop.

VERY actually, but you'll have to google the answer since I can't tell you that info. Preds and Reapers are the same setup, just different motors.

And don't even think I bringing up the sky master.

Actually those are 2 different planes, one a Beech Starship and the other a Piaggio Avanti. I didn't add the Sky Master since it "went both ways".

GA = General Aviation

where did paraplane come from???

Sorry, I thought you meant General Atomics...My bad.

Anyway...Here is another plane that is now outside my office in the hangar a 130 from the Texas ANG. One picture has a hole in the wing that came from what looks like a .50cal round from ground fire. They put a temp patch on it until they could get in here to fix it (ABDR) Aircraft Battle Damage Repair. It went through one of the fuel wing fuel cells. They have no idea where the ground fire was from, but they do a lot of travel in and out of this location to other countries around here. This is a crazy place and anything can happen here.

The Texas ANG guys came into my office and wanted to know if they could check out our MQ's and the ground control station. So, I'm going to give them a tour, but not all can go to the site for the GCS tour without a TS clearance...Oh well.

One bullet hole??? It was a big enough target.

I always wanted a ride ride in a skymaster (pushme pullme) I always heard when you get them sync'd the ride is sweet.  And fast.

Not fast enough to escape ground fire. Dad flew one in 'Nam O2 was its military designation. Flew FAC out of Da Nang
