The wife was looking at some old pictures today, and ran across a bunch of old newspaper clipping from where we lived for 54 years before moving here in 2000. Such fun it was reading many of them, we had forgot about many of articles. Two of the clipping I will share with you, from 1987. I was so in love with this baby and yes it was red.

Very cool. :cool

But I don't have any old memories of corvettes. :( Other than wanting one since I was about 4' tall...and that was a looooong time ago.

I did see a '67 with 427 and tri power carbs a long time ago. Can still "see" it like it was yesterday. That's my fav btw.

Very cool Nort99!

I lived SE Iowa, about 1 1/2 hours from Quincy in my older days.

Do you happen to to remember the stock car drivers in the 70's, Ernie Derr, Ramo Stott, Don White, etc. from Keokuk, IA?

Born an raised in Waterloo, Iowa. :howdy

As a young man I spent many Sunday nights at Tunis Speedway.

I left the frozen tundra in '82 - Iowa is not hell but you can see it from there... :lol
