Guest racingchester Posted January 27, 2014 Share Posted January 27, 2014 From the time I turned off the 10 it took me 45 minutes to get to the ticket booth. Beside not having the staging lights and nit having the et & mph at the finish line plus the announcer could not get the right times or mph for the right cars or never gave the info. it was not to bad. Started eliminations about 3:30 and everything finished before 6.00. Joe ran a 8.33 181 and a 8.55 177. Had the engine go away and think it is a head gasket. Final run he bogged and was about 3 car lengths behind. Got about half way and got out of the groove and darn near collected the wall. Yup lost to a 10 sec. car. O well thats racing...... Wife enjoyed the drifting show, told her I would get her drifting lessons for her bday. Fun time but they didn't seem very organized at the drag strip.
