F-15 isn't exactly vintage since it's still flying. :lol

So is a B-52, and there are guys flying them now, whose grandfathers flew the same plane. But, it is hard to believe the F-15 is almost 50 years old. That is mostly vintage :o)

The little white in to the right of thr big black plane is a ford, my gran pappy worked on 'em. They called them death from the Tarmac, or rolling tug Ur johnson because you could steer with one hand and they didn't have texting back then... What do I win ?

Ahhh...The bent wing bug sucker! Did someone mention "Drones"?! Too bad you guys didn't list the best A/C ever. No, not a F-16 lawn dart. F-111s ruled for almost ever, just like the F-4s. almost 23 glorious years on the "Wonder Lemon". You ain't nothing if your wings can't sweep. :LolLol:

The F-15E (Strike Eagle) is relatively old, kind of since around 1988ish, just before the first gulf. There is a newer F-15SE (Silent Eagle) out with lower radar signature and other nice avionics upgrades.

1988ish by military aircraft standards is fairly new. :lol

No, new is a F-117 thats already out of service. Buffs are still flyin' and that's a 50s airframe and is projected until 2020 or something like that. Now that's OLD.
