RRbob
Do we have a new 1000’ drag strip in Lake Havasu in our future? http://www.dragracingonline.com/agent1320/2013/1320-xv_1-72.html
Jon
While cool and all, I won't be driving all the way up there to race 1000' drags.
TheCMSH
I think after Scott Kalitta got killed I kinda doubt you'll see a new facility any longer than 1000'. Wave of the future whether anyone likes it or not

Desertdawg
I just pulled out a timeslip from Speedworld in Nov. Here's me 1000' and 1/4 times.... 1000'ET 10.34 @ 106.3mph 1/4 et 12.34 @ 117.1mph While not my best 12.21 1/4 it's close enough. Who else has times to compare? I knew the wide body looked fast, 10 second car baby
Down
I think after Scott Kalitta got killed I kinda doubt you'll see a new facility any longer than 1000'. Wave of the future whether anyone likes it or not Probably true and a real bummer. It's rare enough to find someone who has a good grasp of 1/4 mile times; having to mix in 1k ft times will make it even worse.
