Guest LT4ME
Well, Angie and I have hit a crossroads in our lives and come to the decision that we want to start a family. Unfortunately, that means we can only keep one 'Vette. We weighed our options and unfortunately, mine's the one that gets to go away. So, if anyone's interested, my 1996 Collector Edition LT4 with 20k original miles is for sale. We plan on putting it in the Auto Trader for $24kobo (I've watched several with far more miles go for the same price since we bought this one) but for someone in ACE, we'd be willing to make a nice deal as long as I get visitation rights. See sig for a pic of it. Anyone who has seen it can vouch for the fact that it's in showroom condition.
Quiktrip
WOW!!! That's a shocker!! I'm happy and sad for you guys...happy for the baby, but sad on the need to get rid of the CE. Angie is going to let you drive the C5, isn't she?? Well, one vette is better than none, so be happy with the one and START MAKING BABIES. Good luck on both endeavours, and watch out for morning sickness. Robert

I'm sad to lose the car, but the thought of having a baby puts a much larger smile on my face than any car ever could. Now, if I can onlysurvive those 9 preceding months... Eddie44
Congrats on starting the family. I've got three grown sons and wouldn't take a million dollars for any one of them but at this point in my life I wouldn't give you a dime for another one. The birth process is one of Gods truly awesome pieces of work.I will certainly tell anyone I hear of wanting a Vette about yours. It is definitely a superb example of a clean C4. Good Luck with both! Guest intmd8r
BTW, is your new handle gonna be "MyWife'sC5"???? I'm sure once I actually get pregnant and am in the later months, I won't even be able to get in the 'Vette, so I'm sure it will be all him driving it then! Thanks for the well wishes everyone and believe me, I'm hoping for mild too...

Guest LT4ME
Well, the CE is gone, we went and traded it for a family sedan. A rather slick family sedan if I do say so myself. Now time to get working on the kid. If it takes a village to raise a child, better the village drives lots of Vettes. Guest LT4ME
what kind of sedan did you get?A 300 Limited Edition. No Hemi, but it still gets out of it's own way. We did look at the SRT8 (425hp), but since we were looking for a family car, the Hemi was out. No to mention if we mention "Hemi" to our insurance agent, he starts upgrading his retirement plans from 1) retire in nice house in Gilbertto1) retire on the beach in Malibu
Dianne
Since I don't know what your car looks like, can you send me a picture along with your bottom line. I have someone who is really interested and is looking to buy within the next week. Also, what part of town do you live in.Dianne :D

knkayotte
Congrats on your decision. We have a 4 month old now. Wife couldn't get in the vette at about month 5, real hard to get in and out of.We have a quad cab truck now that is getting us by as a kid hauler, but an SUV is in our future once the truck lease is up (2 years). I figure I should be able to get a decent used Tahoe by then.
roneva
Mike, Ang, if you're having trouble determining where they come from, perhaps this will help.A very young boy says to his grandma, "Grandma, where did I come from?"She wisely replies, "Well, what did your Mother tell you?""She said I came from a seed," the boy says."Well, your Mother is right because she was there," the grandma says."Well, when yu first knew me, was just my head sticking out of the ground?" :D
