IP courtesy lamp timer

I had an issue with a current draw of about 6amps, we narrowed the circuit down to the IP courtesy lamp circuit, i found the dimmer switch in the on position causing the courtesy lamps to stay on, after turninig them off the draw went down to less than .3amps. my question is this "isntthere a time out on that circuit? its a 2000 vert. SI states the reading lamps have a time outbut I cant find anything on a time for the courtesy lamps. so far the battery hasnt gone dead yet (3days) so im sure that solved the problem. I'm just at odds about the timer

Pretty sure it is suppose to time out after 15 minutes
