Guest Kens06 Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 I am moving and have NO room for this!!I bought one of those snowball case iMacs when they first came out!I thought they looked cool and since everyone said they were so easy to use, I wanted to try one out!Well, being an IBM clone guy since the 286 I figured a smooth easy learning curve!!Never Happened!!And of course as soon as this one was delivered, they went to the 17" screen as standard!!It has OS-9 and OS-X installed.512MB memorySuperdriveAirport cardSpeakers/keyboard/mouseIt has Firewire but only USB 1.I have all the discs for a clean install!I thought I was going to use it for music and stuff and windows apps caught up too fast!!Offers??Anyone know some needy schools that will sign the tax paperwork??Ken Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have surfed with the Mac twice and even put mozilla on it but had problems!!Plugging the dv camera in and having the OS see it, download the moviesand start the edit program is impressive!!If you know how. Macs will see PC drives etc on a network!PS'c can see the Mac with 'Dave'?? and that is what I never renewed my subscription and I never used the machine again!How old, when did Steve Jobs decide the iMac needed a 17" screen??I got mine two weeks before that!!When was OS X released!
