Togo Posted July 6, 2006 Share Posted July 6, 2006 an easy way to check is to pop your gas lid, remove the cap and pull up on the bib (you may not have to pull up)there will be a circular object with 12 bolts or so (maybe 10) if that is the case, that is where you will find the pumpbe VERY careful when reassembling - my colors weren't matched on mine when i replaced and i would up shorting my sending unit out on my '85 - had to go to 20th street auto for a new (used) one Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its kinda flaky atm, Ive read that they are pretty easy to clean up and get working properly again. So i figured while im in there I might as well toss a new pump in the thing. :DThanks for the info!
