Man does she sound good now! I had a 4 gauge power and ground cable before but the heat completely melted the fuse holder on the power cable and I completely burnt out the power cable.. so i went thicker.. WAY thicker, and boy was it a pain to try and make a zero gauge wire fit in the same areas the 4 gauge was in. I also upped the fuse from a 60a fuse to a 100a. ill post some pics up when i get the chance. But to those of you who has heard Zeek's awesomeness before, shes even louder now :party

cause 60a isnt much at all for a fuse. 100a is still very safe. and actually the new fuse holder i got comes with a 250a! but i thought that was pushin it a little to much so i went down to 100. and also, the amp itself also has a fuse to, and that one is rated at 40a. which i might up to 60a, but we'll see. and yes bob, i agree. the louder the better! i just keep making it louder as i become more deaf :banannarainbow::lol

Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me! There is a reason the company put a 40 amp fuse in there.....Probably because some internal components can only handle about that much. If you up it to 60 then those component may blow before your fuse does. Kind of like putting a penny in the old screw in fuses.....Sure it'll work....but for how long!

So is "up" the new cool replacement word for raise or increase? I see it being used quite often by people who otherwise use better communicative skills.

DO NOT put a bigger fuse in the amp. The 100A fuse in the power line, that's fine. But larger fuses in the amps won't help you AT ALL.

One of my employees, Mario Fettiseppi, used "up" and got fired. He put a note on my desk that read "i wanna U P on my pay".

I put a note in his final pay envelope that read "Find a different employer to urinate on your paycheck. Maybe they did that for you in Chicago, so try at Guido's Escorts".
