I had a 4 gauge power and ground cable before but the heat completely melted the fuse holder on the power cable and I completely burnt out the power cable.. so i went thicker.. WAY thicker, and boy was it a pain to try and make a zero gauge wire fit in the same areas the 4 gauge was in. I also upped the fuse from a 60a fuse to a 100a. ill post some pics up when i get the chance. There is a reason the company put a 40 amp fuse in there.....Probably because some internal components can only handle about that much. If you up it to 60 then those component may blow before your fuse does. Kind of like putting a penny in the old screw in fuses.....Sure it'll work....but for how long!
